Goal Setting!

Hi all,
Just to see who is still using this blog regularly, and I am hoping there are more of you out there than just me.
I would love for you all to set one goal for yourselves that incorporates ICT in some way.
For example: 'I want to sign up and trail Dojo in my classroom after seeing Kaiti share this resource'
If you are brave enough to post one thing that is blocking you from achieving that goal and two things that can help you. Thinking of the above goal- 1 blocker is 'I don't really understand how it works'. Two things that could help might be 'Give myself time to have a good look around at Dojo and see if I can work out the in's and outs', second helper to achieve the goal may be 'talk to Kaiti about getting started and see if she can help'. By posting these goals on here for us all to see and support you may find people putting their hands up to help you.
I will start!
My goal is: Use googledocs for my planning so that Danielle and I can plan more time efficiently together.
Two blockers are: 1) time with Danielle to share Googledocs and how it works.
                              2) I don't have time to do planning at home.
Two solutions to the blockers are:
1) talk to Tim about some time with Dan in planning week- even just one session or get together with Dan outside of school to show her Googledocs and how it works.
2) Make some time, allow 30 minutes on a Tuesday night when the kids are in bed. Set the timer and know that that time is my school planning time.

Now it is your turn.... who is brave enough to join me by posting their goal????

  1. Maybe to solve the time issue with providing PD for Google Docs (we introduced it in LSDA with nothing more than a guide we provided and a mentor to call upon if needed - most didn't), but you could use a 'pass it on' method of PD.

What I mean is that you train one person with the condition that they then have to train one person. Maybe students could be included too? Just a thought Laura.
