E-Learning Vision

Through our Bastow course and a recent DET ICT Planning workshop, we have been looking closely at our schools E-Learning Vision.  What do you see as a priority for our school in regards to E-Learning.  Think about the skills we want the kids to be developing.  As you get more confident with Blogging, you will feel more confident questioning, supporting, challenging and building on other people's comments.  I encourage you to do this, not only at our meeting tonight, but when you have an aha moment tomorrow.

    Here is a primary school example for an ICT vision from the department website

    ICT will be a fundamental component of teaching and learning, where state of the art technology and professional learning will equip teachers with transformative skills and develop students that are innovative and confident users of ICT in an ever changing digital world.

    This might help you have a think about the school vision for SHPS

    Some more ideas on the things I see as important:
    - Collaboration to develop communication and teamwork skills, reflecting and giving one another feedback on our ideas and learning.
    - Creation: uploading and sharing products of learning with a real life audience.
