I am reviewing Global2 which is a blogging site for teachers and students.
I have signed up all of the Grade 3's this year and they have been using Global 2 weekly with me. I post their work on there and they have to log on, read and complete the activity.
As a classroom teacher I could see this being useful for online reading activities and groups, maths groups or even for contacting and sharing investigations work.
The Grade 3's next term will have access to their own blog space and will be reaching out to communicate with others outside of our local area.
The students are loving using it, it is free, accessible as long as you have internet access and I have found it easy to use.
